What have we done for ourselves lately, for them to see, to avoid Health Epidemics?

Is it human nature to know there’s a Serious Crisis and ‘Do Business As Usual’?
‘What do we do now’, is a poignantly asked question by many many of our brothers & sisters around the world. My answer to the question, which I’m certain is shared by many, is to expand our knowledge in order to help ourselves and others. Skepticism, Fear, usaully come from not having the facts. FEAR = False Evidence Appearing Real. We can do business as usual and nothing changes, or: 1. seek out creative solutions, 2. make lifestyle changes, & 3. have fun doing it! There are solutions that offer all three pursuits. The requirement is to research the freely given information, ask questions, get the facts, and make an informed choice.
But first, it is again an honor to include the First Lady’s thoughts on the epidemic of Childhood Obesity.
Yes, the current epidemics and how they effect our future, are very serious! Is, to do nothing, on a personal and national level, an option?? Of course NOT! There are creative solutions!

Campaign to Combat Childhood Obesity.
On February 9, 2010, First Lady Michelle Obama, announced at a White House ceremony, the launch of the 
‘Let’s Move!’ campaign to end childhood obesity in the United States, an epidemic she said is costly and a threat to national security. The First Lady stated that , “I have set a goal to solve the problem of childhood obesity within a generation… “ She states that ”Our kids did not do this to themselves… ” “Our kids don’t decide what’s served to them at school or whether there’s time for gym classes or recess.
” “Our kids don’t choose to make food products with tons of sugar and sodium in super-sized portions, and then to have those products marketed to them everywhere they turn.” The point she makes is very significant, saying that, ”Those extra pounds put kids at a greater risk of developing a host of debilitating and costly diseases, including type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol.”
What an enormous task! It must be our great hope and our prayers, 
that she will receive the necessary cooperation greatly deserved from all of the government agencies and officials involved.
She makes a very direct and important statement to All Parents: “…. no matter how much they beg for pizza, fries and candy, ultimately, they are not, and should not, be the ones calling the shots at dinnertime” We must all work together to make this happen for the sake of the children.
